PCB Design & Hardware Engineering Services

Schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout and manufacturing-ready output for connected products — designed alongside the app that controls the board, not handed off to a separate vendor after the fact.

Overview

What this service covers

Pak IT Corner designs the PCB hardware behind connected products — from a first schematic revision through a manufacturing-ready layout — alongside the mobile or web app that talks to it. Because the same team handles both sides, the board's pinout, power budget and communication interface are designed to match what the app and firmware actually need, instead of being guessed at from a datasheet after the board is already routed.

Client Problems

Problems this service solves

  • A product concept exists but there's no schematic or board yet.
  • An existing board has noise, thermal or reliability issues that need diagnosing and fixing.
  • A design works on the bench but needs a DFM review before going to a fabricator.
  • A board needs to shrink, add a wireless radio, or move from a one-off prototype toward a small or bulk production run.
  • The hardware and the app that controls it are being built by separate vendors, and the integration keeps slipping.
Capabilities

What we do

  • Schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout
  • Power-supply and power-electronics design
  • Component selection and footprint verification
  • RF-aware layout for boards carrying a Wi-Fi, BLE or LoRa module
  • Design-for-manufacturing (DFM) review before release
  • Gerber, BOM and pick-and-place file preparation
  • Board bring-up, interface testing and debugging support
  • Bulk / production manufacturing coordination
Technologies

Tools & platforms

Industry-standard PCB design tools, chosen to match a project's complexity and your preferred file format. Most designs are built around ESP32, STM32 or Arduino-compatible microcontrollers as the starting reference.

Development Process

How we approach a PCB project

  1. 01Requirements

Confirm the board's function, interfaces, size and power constraints.

  2. 02Schematic

Capture the circuit and share it for review before layout starts.

  3. 03Layout & DFM review

Route the board and check it against the fabricator's process before release.

  4. 04Manufacturing handoff

Deliver Gerbers, BOM and pick-and-place files, then support bring-up and, where needed, bulk production.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Schematic files
  • PCB layout files
  • Gerber files
  • Bill of materials (BOM)
  • Pick-and-place files, where the board is going to assembly
  • DFM review notes

FAQ

PCB Design Services FAQ

Common questions about scope, tools and deliverables. For general questions about working with us, see the main FAQ page.

What files do you provide after PCB design?

Editable schematic and PCB layout source files, Gerber files, a bill of materials (BOM), pick-and-place files where the board is going to assembly, and the DFM review notes from before release.

Which PCB design software do you use?

KiCad, EasyEDA and Altium Designer. We pick the tool that matches a project's complexity and the file format you want to keep working in afterwards.

Can you design PCBs for ESP32, STM32 and IoT devices?

Yes. Most designs start from an ESP32, STM32 or Arduino-compatible microcontroller, including RF-aware layout for an on-board Wi-Fi, BLE or LoRa module. We can also build the companion IoT app that talks to the board.

Can you review an existing PCB instead of designing one from scratch?

Yes. We diagnose noise, thermal and reliability problems on an existing board and run a design-for-manufacturing (DFM) review before it goes to a fabricator.

Can you help with PCB prototyping and manufacturing?

Yes. After layout we prepare the Gerbers, BOM and pick-and-place files, support board bring-up and interface testing, and coordinate small or bulk production runs with the manufacturer.
